NOTICE: The Town of Lindley is seeking an individual who will provide part-time temporary office assistance to the Lindley Highway Superintendent. All interested parties are invited to provide their letter of interest and qualifications by Tuesday, July 7th by end of business day, to be reviewed at the Regularly Scheduled Town Board Meeting on Wednesday, July 8th at 7:00 pm. A Zoning Board Member May Reside Outside the Town of Lindley
(6/24/2020 Public Hearing)
Whereas: General Municipal Law mandates a Town must have a Zoning Board of Appeals (ZBA) and,
Whereas: the Town of Lindley has diligently sought to fill the 3-member ZBA with town residents and,
Whereas: there remains one vacant seat.
Now Therefore Be It Resolved: A Zoning Board of Appeals member may reside outside the Town of Lindley if this is determined to be in the best interest of the Town of Lindley Residents.
This law becomes effective upon filing with the NYS Secretary of State.
