A public hearing will be held by the LINDLEY ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS at Lindley Town Hall located at 637 Co. Rte. 115 Lindley, NY 14858, on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. to consider the following:
Area Variance Request: Mr. Paul Mortzheim is seeking an Area Variance, in accordance with Section 11.8 of the Zoning Law.  The Area Variance request is for the property located at 1747 Indian Hills Road, Lindley, NY.
The Zoning Board of Appeals will at said time and place, hear all persons in support of such application or any objections thereto.

·      Invitation for Raeann Engler and Robert Wright to attend May or June TB meeting to discuss tax equalization rates and the reason we are not accepted as 100%. Need to respond with questions they can address.
·      Mark requests consideration of a heating boiler for the new building. Can we get assistance for ‘Green NY’ if we use solar?
·      Justice transition- fair pay for incoming and outgoing Justices.

NOTICE: The Lindley Planning Board will hold two Public Hearings on Monday, April 17th at 7:00 pm at the Lindley Town Hall, 637 Co. Rte 115, Lindley NY 14858. The first public hearing will be to review a Conditional Use Permit Application submitted by Stateline Camping located on Maynard Rd., Tax Map# 369.08-01-021.200.  The other public hearing will be to review a Subdivision Application for James and Terry Potter on Clendenning Rd, Tax Map# 369.00-02-032.100.  All interested parties are invited to attend and be heard.

Please note that Rabies Clinics are free, however a $5.00 donation is requested to cover the cost of vaccinations.

Lindley's Rabies Clinic is May 13th from 9-11 at the Lindley Highway Garage, 1332 River Rd, Lindley.

Please bring current/unexpired vaccination paperwork with you in order to receive a 3-year vaccination.

Please keep animals contained.

Please clean up after your pets.

You may license Town of Lindley Dogs at the Lindley Rabies Clinic.
$11.00 for spayed/neutered ; $18.00 for unpsayed/unneutered.  Overdue License fees may apply.

Tax Collection Extension

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that I, Megan Thistle, the undersigned Collector of Taxes for the Town of Lindley, County of Steuben, State of New York, have received an extension of time for collection of taxes from the Treasurer of Steuben County.
TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that the taxes paid to Lindley Tax Collector by Tuesday, April 4th (USPS Postmarked by March 31st, or Walk-in and Drop Box by 1pm Tuesday April 4th) will be collected accepted.  After this time, any Town and County Taxes will need to be paid directly to the Steuben County Treasurer's Office.
TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that, pursuant to the provisions of the law, the tax roll of the Town of Lindley will be returned to the Treasurer of Steuben County on April 12th, 2017.

NYSDEC Public Comments Requested

Public Comment Invited on Proposed Remedial Decisions to Address Contamination Related to the Study Area (Corning); Public Meeting Scheduled About the Proposal and Next Steps

NYSDEC is inviting public comment about Proposed Decision Documents that outline activities to address contamination for portions of the “Study Area”, including Corning-Painted Post High School, Corning Memorial Stadium, and Corning Christian Academy (Corning, Steuben County).

NYSDEC has scheduled a public meeting to discuss the proposed remedial decisions, as well as the next steps for cleanup of the impacted properties in the Study Area: March 22, 2017 from 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. at the Radisson Hotel, 125 Denison Parkway East, Corning, New York. Agency staff and Corning Incorporated also will be available to answers questions from the public at the Radisson from 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. that day.

Planning Board Public Hearing

NOTICE: The Lindley Town Planning Board will revisit a Subdivision Application of the meeting on Monday September 19th 2016 that was tabled at that meeting.  This application was submitted by Mr. Castiglione, Tax Map # 407.00-01-006.120, located on Steamtown Rd. The Board will re-open discussion of subdividing the 80 acre lot into two parcels.  The Public Hearing will be held on Monday, February 20th at the Regular Planning Board Meeting at the Lindley Town Hall, 637 Co.Rte 115 PO Box 62, Lindley NY 14858 at 7:00 pm. All interested parties are welcome to attend and be heard.
