The Town Clerk Office is closed Thursday, August 29th and Monday September 2nd.  Office will re-open on Tuesday, September 3rd, and also be open during Saturdays in September from 9:00 - Noon.

I99 Updates and traffic flow changes as of August 21, 2013

Please note that there is now a stop sign at the end of the Presho Bridge onto Indian Hills Road.  

Also, Southbound Traffic onto I99 is scheduled to begin Thursday, August 22nd, barring any delays.

Local Southbound Traffic onto old Route 15 will be diverted from the Presho overpass onto Indian Hills road,  past the Presho Cemetery and along onto Hovey Road (formerly a dead end road). This will open onto Northbound Old Rt 15.  Please stop at the stop sign before crossing and continuing southbound on Old Rt 15.

Public Information Meeting - Comprehensive Plan and Zoning Update

Public Information Meeting regarding Town of Lindley Comprehensive Plan and Zoning Update

The Planning Board will host a public information meeting at the Lindley-Presho Volunteer Fire Department, 9541 Tannery Creek Rd, Lindley NY  14858 on Monday, August 26th 2013 from 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm to update the community about the Planning Board's work on the Town's Comprehensive Plan and Zoning Laws.  The Comprehensive Plan is a policy document guiding future land use, growth and conservation. Although it is not a law, the Town’s zoning must conform with  the Comprehensive Plan according to NYS Municipal Law. The Plan will include a vision statement for how the Town should look in 10+ years, as well as a set of goals and objectives for achieving the goals. Anyone who would like to comment about the Planning Board’s efforts in this regard over the past several months is willing to attend, learn about the process, contribute opinions about the Draft Vision, Goals and Objectives, and provide comments.  Scope of Work: Furnish all labor material and equipment necessary to construct a
50’ x 140’ steel highway shop building including:
o Furnish and install prefabricated steel building complete
o Excavate for and construct reinforced concrete foundations
o Place and compact gravel base for concrete slab in building
o Place concrete slab with insulation, heat pipes and related items
o Furnish and install 6 each 16 x 14 overhead doors
o Furnish and install pass doors and windows
o Other work as required for a complete job

o Maintain and protect work site

Public Hearing Notice for a Conditional Use Permit 8/19/2013

PUBLIC HEARING FOR A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT

Notice is hereby given that a Public Hearing will be held on Monday, August 19, 7 p.m. in the Town Hall, Route 15, Lindley New York for the purpose of considering a conditional use as required in Section 4.2.4 of the Town of Lindley Zoning Law.

The application of Brad and Kim Cuneo for the approval of a single wide manufactured home to be located at 8511 State Line Rd., tax map #422.00-03-005.130 will be considered at this hearing.
