On Sunday May 22nd at 2 P.M., The Tioga County, Penna Honor Guard will honor all Military personnel with an Armed Forces Day ceremony. The ceremony will be held on the lawn of the Lindley Town Hall on U. S. Rt.15. Armed Forces Day was created August 31,1949 for the purpose of honoring Americans serving in the 5 services- Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force and the Coast Guard. This is a free event and the public is encouraged to attend and to thank members of the Armed Forces-past and present for their patriotic service in support of our country. Bring a Military Veteran or Friend .

The regular meeting of the Lindley –Presho Historical Society will be held on Thursday May 26th at 7 P.M. at the Lindley Town Hall. Jim Lundgren will present his plans for a Veteran’s Honor Roll for the Town of Lindley residents .He will, also, will have a display of the Indian artifacts that he has collected locally for many years.. The meeting is free and open to the public.
